Aline Pape was born in 1997 near Arnsberg and grew up in a small village nearby.
In 2014, she begins training as a design technical assistant in Bestwig, Germany.
Three years later, in 2017, she moves to Aachen and starts studying communication design at FH1.
During this time, she discovers her deep interest in photography and gender theories and begins to identify as a non-binary person.
In 2019, she starts working as a freelance photographer and designer and becomes a student assistant to her photography professor, Lorenz Gaiser.
In 2021, she receives a scholarship by the German National Academic Foundation and, one year later, she earns her Bachelor's degree in communication design with her work "Modern Gender", the accompanying photo book and exhibition concept.
She is nominated for the "German Design Award 2023 - Newcomer" and receives the scholarship from the Ministry of Culture and Science, NRW.
In December 2022, she publishes the book of Modern Gender with GRAVUR, which is exhibited in Paris at the Galerie M.
