Call for projects

In 2023, I would like to hold three exhibitions on the theme of gender at Galerie M.
One will focus on masculinities, another on gender transitions and the third on gender issues (see below).

More generally, I wish to promote LGBTQI+ artists (photographers or not) who primarily question current social issues, or who, without being in frontal questioning, promote other models by what they are, and by their specific views on the world.

Masculinities

The aim of this exhibition is to demonstrate that the concept of masculinities is plural and that it depends essentially on where it is viewed.
This reflection will be a humble continuation of the exhibition on Masculinities that was presented at the Arles meetings in 20211, focusing particularly on today's questions.

Gender transitions

This exhibition, without being didactic, will open a dialogue on the processes of gender transition and what they imply for the people who live them.

It also aims to demonstrate that the phenomenon is worldwide and that it is probably part of a new global movement in which the place of gender is tending to become integrated within societies.

Queer

Without getting into polemics, this exhibition, addressed to the general public, aims to raise questions in order to open up spaces for reflection on gender, non-binarity, power etc.

Today the field of proposals is wide, the more precise themes will be those of predilection on which the artists work and which they will propose.
